In a world shaped by rapid change and growing technological and regulatory demands, the urban mobility sector stands at a critical crossroads. Indigo, a leading player in the industry, stands out through its ability to strike a balance between technology and human expertise. To discuss these transformations, we invited Sébastien Fraisse, Chairman of Indigo Group, for a joint interview with Eleven Strategy (Stevan Urien and Adrien Rougier).
Eleven Strategy : Sébastien, could you tell us more about Indigo and its role in the urban mobility sector ?
Sébastien Fraisse: Absolutely. Indigo is a major player in the management of parking infrastructure and urban mobility services. As such, we are directly impacted by the ongoing transformations taking place in cities. We are adapting our facilities and solutions to better accommodate new forms of mobility, with a growing focus on electric vehicles and bicycles, for example. We are also repurposing parking spaces to support the deployment of now-essential urban activities such as last-mile logistics.
At the same time, we strive to integrate advanced technologies to improve service quality, enhance safety, and optimize operational costs. For instance, we use technologies such as augmented video systems and real-time alerts to monitor our parking facilities. Combined with thermal detection solutions, these tools enable us to anticipate and prevent certain incidents before they occur.

Eleven Strategy : What are the main challenges you are currently facing in the urban mobility market ?
Sébastien Fraisse: The market is undergoing profound transformation as it evolves alongside major technological, political, and regulatory shifts in urban mobility. We must constantly innovate to remain competitive and relevant, while also meeting our customers’ growing expectations in terms of service quality, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
Eleven Strategy : Can you explain how Indigo uses technology to enhance safety and optimize costs?
Sébastien Fraisse : We have integrated cameras for automated license plate recognition, which has transformed both our operational approach and the customer journey. Whether for monitoring paid on-street parking or digitizing the customer experience in parking facilities, this technology has represented a major breakthrough in our management processes, making our operations more cost-effective and efficient.

Combined with video analytics and thermal detection solutions, these technologies now allow us to prevent certain incidents before they occur, thereby ensuring greater safety for both our infrastructure and our users.
Eleven Strategy : How does Indigo decide when to rely on technology and when to prioritize human intervention?
Sébastien Fraisse : It’s a delicate balance. Technology should enable the automation of repetitive or time-consuming tasks, but the final decision must remain in human hands. While we automate processes such as license plate recognition and image analysis, the final validation is always carried out by our teams. This ensures a high level of accuracy while optimizing costs.
Eleven Strategy : Can you tell us more about Indigo’s approach to optimizing the use of AI while enhancing internal expertise?
Sébastien Fraisse : We use AI not only to improve operational efficiency, but also to enhance the value of our internal expertise. For example, we are currently testing AI tools to assist our teams in drafting commercial proposals, making them more engaging and effective. This allows our employees to focus on higher value-added tasks.
Eleven Strategy : How do you encourage your employees to experiment with AI to improve their daily work and performance?
Sébastien Fraisse : We encourage our employees to view AI as a tool for continuous improvement. We provide them with training and resources to help them understand and use these new technologies. We strongly believe that AI can simplify their work, improve efficiency, and allow them to focus on higher value-added tasks.
Eleven Strategy : To conclude, what message would you like to share with your employees and partners regarding the future of technology at Indigo?
Sébastien Fraisse : The future of technology at Indigo is both promising and exciting. We will continue investing in innovative solutions that enable us to better serve our customers while also empowering our employees. I encourage all our teams to continue embracing these technologies, innovating, and actively contributing to our collective success.
Eleven Strategy : Thank you very much for this interview, Sébastien. We look forward to seeing how Indigo and Eleven will continue to innovate.
Sébastien Fraisse : Thank you as well. It was a pleasure to share our vision and achievements.
